Ivee "Coodley" Smitherman, daughter of Oliver and Rebecca Higgins Woods, granddaughter of Emory and Anna Stitt Higgins, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2009. She is the mother of Monica Vermelle Ferguson (Florida), Yolanda "Baby Rae" Smitherman (Georgia), and George "Chip" Smitherman (Alabama). Services will be held on Saturday, August 8 at 11 am. First Missionary Baptist Church, 1100 Pine Grove Road, Anniston, AL 36201.
