Please find the following e-mail conversation that was conducted between myself and Sherrilyn Magby on the condition of some of our family located in Mississippi.

Andre,

I don't have Yolanda's number. However, I have copied her and Chip on this note hoping that one of them will reply over the weekend with any ideal of how we can help if it is needed.

No I was not aware and glad that you forwarded it to me. I have been asking that everyone give me an updated listing and account of personal information so that I can post announcements to the family reunion site and take a collection to send food and other resources to our family members in need or go and send for them to stay with other relatives.

If you would be so kind as to have Yolanda contact me by phone or 3-way or conference me in, then I will have a better understanding of what to do. My prayer was that we hear from someone about those in that area so that we can act. Thank you for contacting me.

Attention All Family Members...
If you have any information on the status of our family members that were affected by Hurricane Katrina, please send me the information as soon as possible so that I can attempt to coordinate efforts through the family website! It is imperative that we know the whereabouts and status to provide relief or housing support.

Please let me know if you have housing, food supplies or monetary support that you can provide or need. Please conscience that electricity is out in most of that region and the use of phones or cell phones are limited. In addition, those items require batteries that need to be recharged and without electricity they will not last long. Be cautious about calling constantly to those using cell phones! God bless us all.

Sincerely,

Andre Kellum

Did not know if you knew about this. Maybe pass along.

Sherrilyn

Hello,

I heard from Angie this A.M. She was wondering why I had not called to
check on them. I explained that we were all watching the family
internet for news and did not want to use up their cell phone service
repeating the same news. They are still without power, they have lost all of
their food in the freezer and refrigerator but they are counting their
blessings because they are safe and have a home still.
Yollie, she said to tell you the people in Laurel MS (not sure of the
spelling) are worst off than Jackson. She said you asked about a friend
of yours you could not get in touch with. My Uncle Campbell has
brothers & sisters in Gulf Port he has not been able to contact.
It seem the phone towers for Nextel, Cingular, Verizon etc are down.
Please continue to pray for everyone. Angie says a small bag of ice is
$3.00 ! You know God is not pleased with this! Man's inhumanity to man!
Pass the word on about Angie, Chuck & the boys.
Nita

Hello Family:

Just wanted to check-in from the Harmons' in MS (Chuck, Angie, Woodie & Marcus).

We have been and He is continuing to bless and keep us in his favor. When you see the devastation in the Gulf Coast region and see the central MS area as a whole we were blessed! We were without utilities(lights, water, gas, and telephone) for 4 days, finally getting them restored late Thursday night. Had some minor roof damage, food lost (refrig and 2 freezers), for a few days there was a fuel shortage (long lines when you could find it), but other than that we are thankful.

Has anyone heard from the other family members in this area? Keep in touch. Throughout this whole ordeal our cell phone was our link to the "outside", so give us a call. My cell is 601-212-1357.

Keep praying for all of us.

Angie,
I tried to call your cell phone but could not get through as the message said the hurricane prevented connections. I did call the house and left a message there. You can call me at 888-770-0520 and choose the follow-me option to locate me right away. My direct number is 773-443-1496. I need a list of items and available drop off locations to send them to post to the family website. I want to make sure that you all get all of the items necessary to last you.
